Welcome to AYSO Region 512 Swartz Creek

FUSTAL & CONDITIONING 2026

Each program will have an additional, non-refundable AYSO National Fee of $25.00 added to your total for each player you register.

Registration for Futsal & Conditioning 2026 is now open!

Futsal is FIFA’s only officially recognized form of indoor soccer. Played on a smaller indoor court with clearly marked sidelines and end lines (no walls), futsal emphasizes skill, creativity, and quick decision-making. The game uses a smaller, heavier, low-bounce ball designed to keep play on the ground—encouraging fast passing, close ball control, and high-tempo action.

Our program will begin with conditioning sessions in February, focusing on fitness, agility, and technical development. Futsal play will be introduced in March, allowing players to apply those skills in a fun, competitive environment.

This program is an excellent opportunity for players to stay active through the winter, sharpen their technical abilities, and confidently transition into the Spring outdoor season—knocking off the winter rust while building momentum for the months ahead.

The list of required equipment for FUTSAL is as follows:
  • Indoor footwear: Clean indoor soccer shoes or athletic sneakers are required. Please ensure shoes are free of dirt, moisture, and debris to help keep the facility clean. Cleats are not permitted.
  • Shin guards: Shin guards are mandatory for all players. No shin guards = no participation.

For timing reference:
  • The futsal season is Tuesday, February 17th-Wednesday, March 25th.
  • Location: The Cage, 4110 Morrish Rd, Swartz Creek, MI
  • Division practices are as follows:

Waitlist Information

  • The waitlist is typically activated once the regular registration deadline has passed or when the maximum number of players for a division has been reached before registration closes.
  • We use the waitlist as a temporary holding system—essentially a “pause button”—to determine whether additional teams can be formed or to fill roster spots that become available if players withdraw.
  • Movement off the waitlist can take several weeks and does require patience. Families will be notified by email if a player is activated from the waitlist.
  • Once a player is moved off the waitlist, families will have 48 hours to complete payment in order to secure the roster spot.
  • Registration does not guarantee placement on a team. Team formation is always dependent on the number of volunteer coaches available in each age division.
  • In some cases, a player may be moved off the waitlist sooner if a parent or guardian of a waitlisted player volunteers to serve as a Head Coach in a division where coaches are still needed. If this is something you’re interested in, please contact us directly.
  • If we lose volunteer coaches after teams have been formed, players may be returned to the waitlist. In these situations, players are placed back on the waitlist in reverse chronological order to maintain fairness in the process.

Friend Requests Are Not Permitted

Per AYSO guidelines, friend or coach requests are not permitted for standard Core/Competitive play. All players are randomly assigned to teams through our registration system to support balanced teams and fair play.

Sibling placement exception: Siblings registered within the same age division will be placed on the same team whenever possible. The system automatically does this as long as the siblings are registered under the same parent account.
