AYSO Core Program (6U - 19U)

โšฝ AYSO Core Program (6Uโ€“19U)

Where kids learn soccer, confidence, and life skills โ€” one season at a time

The AYSO Core Program is the heart of everything we do. Itโ€™s where the fun happens, friendships are made, and most players first fall in love with the game of soccer. From 6U through 19U, this program provides a supportive, development-focused environment that grows with your player year after year.

๐ŸŒŸ What makes AYSO different?

AYSO is built on Six Core Philosophies that guide every practice, game, and decision we make:

  • Everyone Playsยฎ โ€“ Every player plays at least half of every game

  • Balanced Teams โ€“ Teams are formed to create fair, competitive play

  • Open Registration โ€“ Everyone is welcome, regardless of experience

  • Positive Coaching โ€“ Encouragement and teaching over yelling

  • Good Sportsmanship โ€“ Respect for teammates, opponents, and referees

  • Player Development โ€“ Soccer skills and life skills go hand in hand

In AYSO, success isnโ€™t measured by the scoreboard โ€” itโ€™s measured by growth, effort, teamwork, and confidence.

โšฝ What your player will experience

  • Age-appropriate coaching and training

  • Games that focus on learning and fun

  • An environment where no child rides the bench

  • Opportunities to develop skills, friendships, and a love for the game

Our goal is simple: get kids on the field, keep them playing, and help them grow โ€” as players and as people.

๐Ÿ“… Season Structure

  • Games: Typically Saturdays or Sundays

  • Practices: Weekday evenings (schedule varies by team and age group)

  • Locations: Local fields and nearby communities for older age groups

๐ŸŽ’ What your player will need

Before the season starts, each player should have:

โœ” Soccer cleats (soccer cleats only โ€” no baseball or football cleats)
โœ” Shin guards (required at all practices and games)
โœ” Size-appropriate soccer ball
โœ” Water bottle
โœ” AYSO uniform (ordered through Soccer.com โ€” more details sent after team formation)

Shin guards must be fully covered by socks and fit properly between the ankle and just below the knee.

๐Ÿ‘• Uniforms

Once teams are formed, youโ€™ll receive an email from Soccer.com to order your playerโ€™s uniform.
Already have a uniform that fits? Great โ€” no need to order a new one.

๐Ÿ™Œ Volunteers make it possible

AYSO is 100% volunteer-run, and our program thrives because parents step up. Coaching, refereeing, and team support roles are available โ€” and no experience is required. Training and resources are provided every step of the way.

If everyone gives a little time, no one has to give all of it.

๐Ÿ“ Ready to play?

Registration is open, and spots fill quickly each season.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Register today and be part of a program that puts kids first, builds confidence, and makes soccer fun.

Letโ€™s play soccer โ€” the AYSO way!
